Nikola Jokic recently spoke to SPORTbible after announcing his partnership with Sprite. In the conversation, he revealed the four players on his NBA Mount Rushmore and the players who have given him the hardest time on the court.
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic named Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Stephen Curry as his four players on his NBA Mount Rushmore during an interview with SPORTbible. Notably, Jokic did not include LeBron James in his top four, nor did he list James when naming the toughest opponents he has faced in his career.
Fadeaway World noted that Jokic instead prioritized center matchups such as Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, and Victor Wembanyama as his toughest individual opponents. The writer suggested that Jokic's choices reflect a personal appreciation for basketball history and big men who influenced his development.
