The Denver Nuggets‘ salary cap crunch limited the kinds of moves they could make in the offseason. Despite this, Denver managed to make some intriguing signings.
The Denver Nuggets have waived guard Lonnie Walker IV as they move toward finalizing their opening night roster, according to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto. The 27-year-old was signed to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 contract and played in only two preseason games, scoring four total points in 17 minutes of action.
Following his release, Walker hired prominent European agent Misko Raznatovic, which insider Marc Stein reported could signal a move to find a job abroad. Walker previously played two seasons in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris and Maccabi Tel Aviv before attending Denver's training camp.
