Caleb Wilson was expected to stand out against Toronto, but another Bulls rookie stole the spotlight with six offensive rebounds in just 14 minutes.

Undrafted rookie center Tobe Awaka delivered a standout performance for the Chicago Bulls despite the team's blowout season-opening loss to the Toronto Raptors. While No. 4 overall draft pick Caleb Wilson struggled in his NBA regular-season debut, Awaka provided an unexpected spark by collecting seven rebounds in just over 14 minutes off the bench.
Writer Andrew Hanlon notes that Wilson endured a rough night, shooting 7-for-21 and committing nine of Chicago's 27 total turnovers against Toronto's defense. In contrast, Awaka pulled down six offensive rebounds, matching Josh Giddey for the team's second-highest rebound total.
