Warriors’ Jimmy Butler Takes Savage Shot at Klay Thompson After Heat Blowout

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler mocked former teammate Klay Thompson on Instagram following the Warriors' 120-100 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Butler posted an AI-generated parody of the 1999 movie "Blue Streak," showing Stephen Curry wrestling a giant letter "W" away from Thompson and placing him in handcuffs, alongside appearances by Draymond Green and Yaxel Lendeborg.

Butler, who is currently sidelined while recovering from a torn ACL, previously played six seasons in Miami before being traded to Golden State in February 2025. Thompson, who won four championships with the Warriors across 13 seasons, scored 11 points for the Heat, while Curry led Golden State to its sixth consecutive win with 29 points.
