The defending champion New York Knicks are set to open the 2026-27 season with a home game against the Philadelphia 76ers. With the coaching staff and players receiving their rings before tip-off, New York is going all-in with the gold…

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson wore all-gold "Ring Night" Kobe 6 PEs in the team's 2026-27 season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers. The footwear, revealed on Instagram by former NBA forward PJ Tucker, served as a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant on the night the Knicks players and staff received their championship rings.
The sneakers matched the gold numbers on New York's opening-night jerseys. Brunson, entering his ninth NBA season after averaging 26.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 74 games last year, has regularly worn Bryant's signature Nike sneakers throughout his professional career.
