Clippers to waive Jamarion Sharp, open two-way spot

The Los Angeles Clippers intend to waive center Jamarion Sharp and enter training camp with an open two-way contract slot, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report and The Stein Line. The 25-year-old, 7-foot-5 center previously signed with Los Angeles in August after participating in the summer league with the Toronto Raptors. If Sharp clears waivers over the weekend, he will officially become an unrestricted free agent on Sunday.

The Clippers are reportedly not actively seeking an immediate replacement for the vacant roster spot. Jalen Pickett and 2026 second-round draft pick Nick Martinelli occupy the team's remaining two-way contract slots. Sharp, who went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2024, earned G League Defensive Player of the Year honors last season with the Texas Legends after leading the league with 3.9 blocks per game.
