The Lakers' “Iron Man” streak came to an end on Friday night against the Clippers.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jake LaRavia will miss Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a sprained right ankle. The injury ends LaRavia's streak after playing in all 82 regular-season games during the 2025-26 season. It marks his first regular-season absence caused by injury or illness since signing with the franchise in July 2025.
LaRavia sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's season-opening victory over the Golden State Warriors while driving against LJ Cryer. Head coach JJ Redick expressed cautious optimism following the game, praising LaRavia's high-impact contributions off the bench.
