Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott is taking time to evaluate his starting center spot between Khaman Maluach and Oso Ighodaro ahead of the October 21 regular season opener. With big man Mark Williams sidelined by injury, Ott indicated he will let the preseason play out before making a final decision just days prior to the first game.
Maluach also discussed working out with star teammate Devin Booker over the offseason following a text message exchange. The young center praised Booker's leadership and basketball knowledge, noting that Booker acts like a coach and helps him learn how to handle various defensive coverages.
