Charlotte Hornets guard Coby White will miss the entire preseason after straining his left calf during training camp. The team has not established a return timetable for White, who re-signed this offseason on a three-year, $74 million contract. Meanwhile, Hornets teammates Kon Knueppel and Grant Williams are sidelined with hamstring injuries and will be reevaluated during the opening week of the regular season.
Elsewhere in the league, Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr participated in full practice for the first time since June foot surgery. Chicago Bulls center Nic Claxton suffered a hamstring strain, ruling him out for the entire preseason with reevaluation scheduled in two weeks ahead of the regular-season opener against Toronto.
