LA Clippers wing Max Strus suffered a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot during Sunday's preseason opener against Hawaii. The noncontact injury occurred five minutes into the game, prompting coach Ty Lue to call a timeout before Strus limped to the locker room. League sources reported that Strus will be reevaluated in four weeks following medical tests in Los Angeles.

The setback adds to the Clippers' growing list of injuries ahead of their regular-season opener on Oct. 21 against the Sacramento Kings. Brandon Ingram is slated to miss the start of the season following heel and Achilles surgery, while Bradley Beal and Yanic Konan Niederhauser are also currently sidelined.
