The New York Knicks have decided to keep center James Wiseman on their regular-season roster for the 2026-27 season, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. To finalize their squad, the reigning NBA champions are waiving guard Bruce Brown, securing Wiseman's spot as a reserve center.
Wiseman impressed the team during the preseason, notably recording 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Toronto Raptors. The 25-year-old former second overall pick will compete for frontcourt playing time alongside veterans Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond.
