The Thunder filled the three roster spots they opened Friday, signing forward Dariq Whitehead and guards Lamar Wilkerson and Nate Johnson, the team announced.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced the signings of forward Dariq Whitehead alongside guards Lamar Wilkerson and Nate Johnson. All three players received non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts and are anticipated to join the franchise's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue. Each deal includes an incentive bonus worth $91,000 if waived and retained by the affiliate for at least 60 days.
Whitehead previously played 34 games for the Blue last season before finishing the year with the Memphis Grizzlies. Undrafted guards Wilkerson and Johnson agreed to terms back in June. To facilitate these additions, the Thunder previously opened roster spots by waiving Zhaire Smith, Anthony Pritchard, and Andrew Holifield.
