Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker stated the team has moved on after teammate Dillon Brooks was formally charged with driving under the influence following an arrest in March 2026. Scottsdale prosecutors filed a misdemeanor DUI complaint on Monday after Brooks' Rolls-Royce was observed swerving and officers noted an odor of marijuana. Booker noted the Suns addressed the matter internally when the arrest occurred.
Brooks' attorney, Larry Kazan, confirmed Brooks acknowledges the charges, respects the legal process, and intends to proceed through the courts. Bodycam footage reportedly showed Brooks denying smoking anything in the prior six months. Brooks is scheduled for arraignment on October 28, one week following the start of the Suns' 2026-27 regular season.
