Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive reportedly turned a team training camp dinner into an extended roast of players, coaches, and executives. According to reporting from Zach Lowe of The Ringer, Ranadive addressed the attendees by highlighting various organizational failures, prompting mixed reactions from those present in the room.
While some attendees interpreted the owner's speech as an unconventional motivational tactic regarding outside media criticism, others were reportedly alarmed by the delivery. Yardbarker noted that the 69-year-old owner has overseen just two winning seasons and one playoff berth since purchasing the franchise in 2013.
