The Warriors have begun exploring trade routes for veteran center Kristaps Porzingis, who remains out indefinitely as he deals with a private health issue, league sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Golden State Warriors are exploring trade options for center Kristaps Porzingis, according to league sources. Porzingis is currently away from the team on an indefinite leave of absence as he manages a chronic health issue that has him contemplating his future in basketball. The franchise declined to publicly comment on trade speculation.
Porzingis signed a two-year, $40 million extension in June that was strategically structured without a raise, making him immediately trade-eligible. The veteran center has been dealing with lingering symptoms related to a POTS diagnosis originally contracted two seasons ago, and sources indicated he could potentially step away from basketball entirely if his health does not improve.
