Agent: Jamal Shead, Raptors agree to 3-year, $24M extension

Toronto Raptors guard Jamal Shead has agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract extension, according to his agent speaking to ESPN on Thursday. The new deal secures the guard's long-term future with the franchise following consistent contributions across his early seasons in Toronto.

Shead appeared in all 82 games last season, making 12 starts and averaging 6.6 points, 5.4 assists, and 1.7 rebounds. Originally selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, he was traded to the Raptors the following day.
