Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr praised Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards following Golden State's 119-114 win over Minnesota. Kerr, who coached Edwards during international competitions with USA Basketball, expressed his admiration for the young guard's continuous growth and wished him a swift recovery after Edwards underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Edwards suffered the injury against the Toronto Raptors and underwent successful surgery performed by Dr. Craig Bennett at the Mayo Clinic. While Edwards is expected to miss at least two months with a potential return late in the year or early January, the Timberwolves have not provided an official recovery timetable.
