Washington Mystics center Shakira Austin has been officially named to the All-WNBA Second Team, the league announced on Saturday. This selection marks Austin's first career All-WNBA selection and makes her the first Mystics player to earn an All-WNBA honor since Tina Charles achieved it in 2021.
Austin achieved this recognition following a strong 2026 campaign where she averaged 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game. Despite not being selected to the All-Star Team, she additionally secured a spot on the All-WNBA Defensive First Team.
