Cardinals’ Jeremiyah Love might just be the next Bijan Robinson

The Arizona Cardinals drafted rookie running back Jeremiyah Love with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The organization hopes Love develops into a premier three-down back capable of impacting both the rushing and passing attacks, similar to standout running backs Bijan Robinson, Christian McCaffrey, and Jahmyr Gibbs.

During his junior season at Notre Dame, Love totaled 1,652 yards from scrimmage and 21 touchdowns. He rushed for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns on 199 carries while adding 27 receptions for 280 yards and three scores, finishing third in the 2025 Heisman Trophy voting behind quarterbacks Fernando Mendoza and Diego Pavia.
