Quarterback play is far from sitting on solid ground for the Arizona Cardinals at this time.Incumbent starter Jacoby Brissett is coming off a rough performance in week two against the Seattle Seahawks. Rookie third-round draft pick Carson Beck is waiting…

ESPN insider Adam Schefter suggested on Thursday that Arizona Cardinals backup quarterback Gardner Minshew II could emerge as a trade target for the New York Giants. The Giants face a quarterback vacancy after starter Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending injury. Minshew is currently playing on a one-year deal with Arizona, serving behind starter Jacoby Brissett.
Arizona general manager Monti Ossenfort faces roster decisions at the position, where rookie Carson Beck is also waiting as the third-string option. With both Brissett and Minshew on one-year contracts, the Cardinals could potentially look to trade one of their veteran signal-callers before the trade deadline.
