The Carolina Panthers have activated three players back onto the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Carolina Panthers activated running back Trevor Etienne, right tackle Taylor Moton, and defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton to their 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. All three players are expected to play, with head coach Dave Canales confirming Etienne's return on Friday alongside the unexpected activations of Moton and Wharton.
Moton returns after being sidelined with blood clots since June, replacing rookie Monroe Freeling, who is doubtful with a knee injury. Wharton returns from offseason neck surgery, though defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero indicated he will be on a snap count. Carolina also elevated running back Tre Tyus and cornerback Robert Rochell from the practice squad.
