Every year, the Bears hold an alumni golf tournament in the summer and an alumni weekend early in the football season. Last Sunday, the organization hosted an alumni road trip for the first time.

The Chicago Bears hosted their first-ever alumni road trip, bussing 14 former players and their guests to Green Bay for a rivalry matchup against the Packers at Lambeau Field. Attendees received tickets, pregame passes, and a tailgate gathering as part of an effort led by director of player and alumni relations Matt Simeone to reconnect former players from different eras.
The traveling group included Kurt Becker, Joique Bell, Fabien Bownes, Sean Cattouse, Terry Cousin, Chris Draft, Levi Horn, Dana Howard, Henry Melton, Brent Novoselsky, Anthony Oakley, Terry Obee, Michael Schofield, and Jim Thornton. The event also allowed alums such as Novoselsky to reflect on legendary former head coach Mike Ditka, who recently passed away at the age of 86.
