The Chicago Bears entered the season with a talented tight end room, but that hasn't translated into receiving production. Find out where the disconnect is.

Nicholas Moreano argues that Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson must involve the team's tight ends more frequently in the passing game. Despite having talent like Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet, and Sam Roush, the Bears rank 22nd in the league with just 199 receiving yards from the position through five games in the 2026 season.
The underwhelming production has been exacerbated by instability at quarterback following Caleb Williams' Week 2 hamstring injury. Moreano notes that while Loveland and Kmet have performed well as run blockers, Loveland in particular is being underutilized as a receiver.
