Cameras captured the moment where President Donald Trump was informed of the passing of Chicago Bears player and coach Mike Ditka.

President Donald Trump learned in real time from reporters on the White House lawn that legendary Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka had passed away. Trump, who was accompanied by Mike Tyson and Randy Levine before departing for a rally in Syracuse, reacted with surprise before praising Ditka as a winner, a tough competitor, and a staunch supporter.
Ditka died on Friday at age 86 surrounded by family and friends, according to The Chicago Sun-Times. A Hall of Fame tight end and coach, Ditka famously guided the 1985 Bears to a 46-10 victory in Super Bowl XX and was the first tight end inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
