Cincinnati Bengals backup quarterback Joe Flacco stated on Thursday that he has no reason to believe he will be traded following external speculation. Rumors emerged linking Flacco to the New York Giants after starting quarterback Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending injury, partly due to Flacco's previous Super Bowl run with head coach John Harbaugh on the Baltimore Ravens.
Flacco emphasized to the Cincinnati Enquirer that his focus remains entirely on preparing with the Bengals for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cincinnati originally acquired the veteran in an in-season trade with the Cleveland Browns in 2025, where he threw 13 touchdowns in six starts following an injury to starter Joe Burrow.
