The Dallas Cowboys are reshuffling both the 53-man roster and the practice squad before a must-win Monday Night Football matchup. One special teams standout is finally getting his reward.

The Dallas Cowboys executed multiple roster moves ahead of their Week 7 Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas signed quarterback Kyle Trask to the practice squad and promoted core special teams player Juanyeh Thomas to the active 53-man roster. To make room for Thomas, the team released cornerback Caelen Carson, who was originally selected by Dallas in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Trask joins Dallas to restore depth after the Eagles claimed quarterback Joe Milton off the Cowboys' practice squad. Sam Howell remains the primary backup behind the starter. The roster adjustments come as Dallas looks to bounce back from a 2-4 start to the season.
