Embattled Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been activated and is expected to make his 2026 season debut against the rival Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was activated to the roster on Saturday after missing the team's first six games on the NFL's exempt list. The 28-year-old is expected to make his 2026 season debut on Sunday against the Detroit Lions while the league continues its investigation into domestic abuse allegations against him.
Jacobs previously pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property after a May altercation with his then-girlfriend. He was ordered to attend counseling and pay restitution, and the games he missed can count toward any eventual NFL suspension.
