SI on Steelers' Noah Strackbein reported former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is visiting the city but not the team over the weekend.

Free-agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is visiting the city of Pittsburgh, though he will not be meeting with the Steelers. SI on Steelers reporter Noah Strackbein initially reported a planned workout with the team, but later clarified that the visit is unrelated to the franchise and resulted from misinterpreted information.
Despite injuries sidelining Pittsburgh receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Roman Wilson, and Ben Skowronek, the team is pursuing in-house options. Smith-Schuster, who previously spent five seasons with the Steelers, was released by the New York Giants in August and recently held tryouts with Minnesota and the Los Angeles Chargers.
