Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson revealed he was spitting up blood and suffered a rib injury during Thursday night's victory against the Carolina Panthers. After landing hard on his longest catch of the game at Lambeau Field, Watson was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for a CT scan before returning to the stadium.
Watson explained after the game that the scan ruled out internal bleeding or any other major damage beyond the rib issue. The wide receiver, who tallied 113 yards in the game, will use Green Bay's upcoming mini-bye to recover before facing the New England Patriots.
