Keisean Nixon is a surprising Packers nonproblem despite preseason concern

Lombardi Ave argues that Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon has established himself as a reliable starter through five games despite entering the season with job security concerns. Although writer John Sbisa acknowledges Nixon struggled in Week 2 against the New York Jets, he notes the defensive back has otherwise demonstrated steady improvement.

According to Pro Football Reference, Nixon has allowed zero touchdowns and a 67.5 passer rating through five games, down from six touchdowns and a 105.1 rating last year. The writer adds that Nixon has registered 31 tackles, an interception, and four passes defensed, though tougher upcoming matchups against quarterbacks like Dak Prescott will offer a truer test.
