NFL star Josh Jacobs has ‘tangible evidence’ to dispute battery claims as lawyers release blistering statement over ‘character assassination unfairly threatening his career’

Attorneys for Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs have released a statement asserting they hold tangible evidence to dispute battery claims made by three women. The allegations, dating back to 2021 and 2022 during his time with the Las Vegas Raiders, were included in investigative records recently released by the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department. Jacobs' lawyers, David Z Chesnoff, Richard A Schonfeld, and Clarence F Duchac III, labeled the release as character assassination that is unfairly threatening his NFL career.

In September, Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property connected to a May 23 incident involving his former girlfriend, paying a $1,000 fine to avoid jail. While Jacobs missed six games earlier in the season, he currently remains active for the Packers as the NFL continues an open investigation into the allegations.
