NFL Week 5 grades for every team: Patriots, Packers earn ‘A+’ while two teams get failing marks

CBS Sports writer John Breech evaluates and grades NFL teams following Week 5 action, highlighting coaching struggles and key performances. The Buffalo Bills received a B+ grade after overcoming mistakes to defeat the Los Angeles Rams 37-34 behind Josh Allen's 331 total yards. Breech also critiques coaching errors across the NFC East, where no team managed a victory during the week.

Several teams earned high marks, with the Patriots, Packers, and Lions receiving A+ grades for dominant victories. Drake Maye passed for 374 yards and four touchdowns in New England's 45-17 rout of the Raiders. Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens earned an A- after backup quarterback Tyler Huntley helped secure a 30-23 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons.
