If, for some strange reason, you've been thinking that Packers football has been a bit boring lately, boy was this the game for you. You had a little bit of everything. A drone stoppage, a visit from the world champion…

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-19, prompting writer Kalani Jones to assess the team's top and bottom performers. Jones awarded game balls to wide receiver Christian Watson, who returned to play after a trip to the hospital, and linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper, who recorded a sack, an interception, and at least three pass breakups. Green Bay's pass rush also earned praise after recording six sacks against Carolina.
Conversely, Jones identified Green Bay's rushing offense, receiver drops, and special teams as key concerns. The Packers managed only 66 rushing yards against Carolina's run defense, while rookie kicker Trey Smack missed his third extra point of the season. Looking ahead, Green Bay faces a ten-day break before playing the New England Patriots, with edge rusher Micah Parsons reportedly expected to return to practice next week.
