Packers CB Brandon Cisse not playing like a rookie

Green Bay Packers rookie cornerback Brandon Cisse is displaying veteran composure and high football intelligence through the first seven games of his NFL career. Selected 52nd overall in the second round, Cisse made crucial defensive plays during Green Bay's recent road game against the Detroit Lions, including shoving Jameson Williams out of bounds in the end zone to force a turnover on downs.

Cisse ranks tied for second on the team with six passes defensed and previously recorded an interception against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Head coach Matt LaFleur praised Cisse as mentally tough, while the rookie corner prepares for an upcoming Thursday night matchup against Carolina Panthers receivers Tet McMillan and Jalen Coker.
