The Packers face a crucial test against New England. Protecting Jordan Love, establishing the run and containing Drake Maye will determine their chances. The post Packers Face Crucial Test Against New England first appeared on PackersTalk.com Blog Posts and Podcasts.

Bobby Santoro writes that the Green Bay Packers face a challenging road matchup against the 5-3 New England Patriots on Sunday. Green Bay enters the contest following a win over the Carolina Panthers, where the rushing offense managed only 66 yards on 26 attempts. Santoro argues the Packers cannot continue relying solely on quarterback Jordan Love to rescue the offense against a New England defense allowing just 92.6 rushing yards per contest.
According to the analysis, Green Bay must establish Josh Jacobs on the ground to open up early play-action passing and protect Love. Defensively, Santoro stresses that the Packers must deploy a disciplined pass rush to compress the pocket around dual-threat quarterback Drake Maye, who has recorded at least three touchdowns in five consecutive games, while using disguised coverages to force hesitant reads.
