An NFL ruling allows the Packers to make another move for Zxavian Harris, whom they hosted for a visit earlier this season.

Lombardi Ave argues the Green Bay Packers should consider signing free-agent defensive lineman Zxavian Harris after losing Javon Hargrave to a season-ending torn Achilles tendon. Following a dominant 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears, Green Bay faces a major depth issue on its defensive front, creating an opening for a roster addition.
Harris previously worked out for the Packers in September but could not sign due to NCAA and NFL eligibility disputes. However, the NFL cleared Harris on Monday to sign with any team as a free agent after determining he never practiced with LSU. The writer notes off-field issues caused Harris to go undrafted, but suggests Green Bay may revisit him for defensive line depth.
