Months after lifting the Lombardi Trophy, the Seahawks are searching for answers, and one former head coach thinks he knows where the slide began. Kenneth Walker III was the engine of Seattle’s ground game, a back who turned tough carries…

Former Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott criticized the Seattle Seahawks for allowing running back Kenneth Walker III to leave in free agency. Walker, who previously earned Super Bowl MVP honors with Seattle, signed a three-year contract worth up to $45 million with the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason. McDermott pointed out that Seattle's offense has suffered from becoming one-dimensional without Walker's ability to run the football effectively.
Since moving to Kansas City, Walker has amassed 537 rushing yards across four games, helping the Chiefs start 4-0. Meanwhile, Seattle's backfield combination of Jadarian Price and Emanuel Wilson has produced only 539 yards combined through six games. Former defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko also questioned the Seahawks' decision, highlighting the team's struggling ground game ahead of their upcoming matchup against Walker and the Chiefs.
