Jim Harbaugh called any offensive adjustments an “ongoing process," but wouldn't comment on OC Mike McDaniel's status.

The Los Angeles Chargers are considering simplifying their playbook to help players better execute the offense, head coach Jim Harbaugh announced. Following an 0-6 start that culminated in a 22-6 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, Harbaugh acknowledged the team is examining play volume and practice repetitions to curb recurring pre-snap penalties and alignment errors.
The future of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel remains uncertain amid the team's struggles, which include ranking last in total expected points added per play and quarterback Justin Herbert leading the league in interceptions. Harbaugh noted that while adjustments to call sheets are under review, Herbert is not expected to revert entirely to his previous mechanics.
