The Chargers are still searching for their first win, but a surprising Ravens quarterback trade could give Los Angeles the perfect opportunity to end its losing streak.
Writer Brandon Viera argues that the Baltimore Ravens trading for quarterback Jacoby Brissett positions the Los Angeles Chargers to earn a Week 10 victory. Baltimore acquired Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals following injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. While Brissett will miss Baltimore's game against Jacksonville, he is expected to start for the Ravens against the Chargers on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
According to Viera, the Chargers defense under coordinator Chris O'Leary has made significant strides since facing Brissett in Arizona's season opener. Although Brissett previously threw for 277 yards and one touchdown against Los Angeles, Viera believes defensive improvements provide the winless Chargers an ideal opportunity to succeed in their primetime rematch.
