During Friday morning's edition of the ESPN "SportsCenter" program, NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared an update on Lamb's status.
Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is dealing with a quad bruise rather than a major injury following Thursday's 24-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Lamb struggled through visible pain and did not finish the game, managing only two receptions for nine yards as Dallas dropped to 2-3.
Rapoport reported on ESPN's SportsCenter that Lamb is expected to return after the team's long weekend of rest. The Cowboys anticipate having the NFL's leading receiver back in the lineup for their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 18.
