Kyler Murray cleared the concussion protocol and will make his second start for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at Tampa Bay, two weeks after his debut ended on his 11th snap.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol and will make his second start of the season on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson expressed excitement about Murray's return, stating on Wednesday that it will be a joy to resume playing alongside him following their work together throughout the offseason and training camp.
Murray suffered a concussion in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers after playing just 11 snaps. Backup quarterback Carson Wentz subsequently guided the Vikings to two consecutive victories, including a 9-3 win over the Chicago Bears, before head coach Kevin O'Connell officially reinstated Murray as the starting quarterback for Week 3.
