Brock Bowers’ status shouldn’t cause Saints to ignore him in Week 3

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Bowers is recovering from a meniscus trim and did not practice on Friday after being a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday. Head coach Klint Kubiak stated that Bowers sitting out on Friday was part of the planned recovery process.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bowers still had a good chance to play earlier in the week despite the missed practice. Bowers serves as a focal point for the Raiders' offense, having recorded 176 receptions and 1,874 receiving yards through his first 29 NFL career games.
