Bleacher Report's Alex Kay identified running back Travis Etienne Jr.'s four-year, $48 million contract as a deal the New Orleans Saints likely already regret. Etienne joined the team during the offseason but has produced an underwhelming start, totaling just 71 yards from scrimmage and zero touchdowns across his first two games.

After catching seven passes for 32 yards in the season opener, Etienne managed only 31 yards on 10 touches in a Week 2 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. His touches were further impacted by the return of Alvin Kamara, and Etienne entered preparation for a Week 3 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders managing a hamstring injury.
