The New York Giants are bringing back a former RB & 2023 draft pick.

The New York Giants have re-signed running back Eric Gray to their practice squad ahead of the NFL trade deadline on November 10. The move comes as the team faces multiple injuries in their backfield, with Tyrone Tracy on injured reserve and Cam Skattebo sidelined by a hamstring injury suffered against the Houston Texans.
Gray was originally selected by the Giants in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft following a 1,366-yard college campaign at Oklahoma. After being released during summer cuts and briefly joining the Cleveland Browns' practice squad, he returns to New York, where ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports the Giants also hold interest in Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor.
