The New York Giants under John Harbaugh have spent this season methodically reshaping their identity, clearing space for players who fit a more disciplined, physical standard while keeping one eye on the NFC East race.
Sports Illustrated's Conor Orr suggested a proposed trade scenario sending Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby to the New York Giants. To facilitate the potential acquisition ahead of the trade deadline, Orr proposed that the Giants could include edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux in a package to offset the cost.
According to the report, the Raiders previously sought two first-round draft picks for Crosby during the offseason. The article notes that pairing Crosby with rookie Abdul Carter would address the Giants' defensive pressure and run-stopping vulnerabilities under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
