Cam Skattebo's Week 6 benching has added a layer to the New York Giants running back situation for fantasy football managers.

Writer Brad Berreman argues that fantasy managers should avoid the New York Giants' backfield following dramatic rotation changes in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints. Running back Cam Skattebo, who previously commanded 91 touches across the first five games, played just six snaps and recorded zero touches after a Week 5 overtime fumble. Although head coach John Harbaugh denied that Skattebo was formally benched, the player acknowledged facing punishment.
Berreman highlights that Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy led the backfield with 31 and 29 snaps respectively, while Najee Harris started and earned four carries. Tracy scored two touchdowns, but the collective group struggled with efficiency. The author advises fantasy managers to bench and hold Skattebo ahead of Week 7 against the Houston Texans, suggesting Tracy remains the only other backfield option with potential fantasy viability.
