49ers injury news brings encouraging updates on Upton Stout and Mike Evans, while Nick Bosa remains unlikely to play against the Seahawks in Week 5.

The San Francisco 49ers received encouraging updates on Thursday as cornerback Upton Stout returned to practice in a no-contact jersey following a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, wide receiver Mike Evans worked on a side field as the team manages his rib injury ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Defensive end Nick Bosa also worked on the side and is not expected to play Sunday due to a calf injury. Defensive lineman Mykel Williams practiced while awaiting activation from the PUP list, while veterans Dre Greenlaw, Christian McCaffrey, and Trent Williams returned after rest days.
