The 49ers have yet to allow a sack in 2026, but NFL.com predicts a Seahawks sack party for Brock Purdy and San Francisco's first loss of the season.

NFL.com editor Gennaro Filice has predicted that the Seattle Seahawks will end Brock Purdy's sack-free streak and hand the San Francisco 49ers their first defeat in Week 5. The 49ers enter the matchup at Lumen Field as the only NFL team yet to allow a sack this season, while Purdy has recorded 11 touchdown passes and just one interception.
Filice expects Seattle's defense, which holds a 43.0% pressure rate, to record four sacks against Purdy. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan praised the offensive line but acknowledged that the streak will inevitably end at some point.
