Seahawks’ Grey Zabel Moving To Right Guard Following Quenton Nelson Trade

Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Grey Zabel is shifting to starting right guard following the team's trade acquisition of All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts. Head coach Mike Macdonald announced the decision, noting that Nelson will step in as the starting left guard. Zabel previously played multiple positions along the offensive line during his collegiate career at North Dakota State.

Zabel expressed enthusiasm for the move, emphasizing the opportunity to learn alongside a premier veteran while building chemistry with tackle Abraham Lucas on the right side. With Zabel taking over at right guard, previous starter Anthony Bradford transitions into the team's primary backup role for both interior guard spots.
