The Seahawks announced an immediate move with a Super Bowl champ playmaker amid devastating news before Chargers game.

The Seattle Seahawks have placed rookie running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve due to a significant shoulder injury, forcing him to miss at least four games. In a corresponding roster move ahead of their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Seahawks signed versatile playmaker Velus Jones Jr. from their practice squad to the active roster to fill the open spot.
Seattle also elevated cornerback Trevon Diggs and safety Maxen Hook from the practice squad. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed Price reaggravated the injury in practice on September 30, while noting that the team continues to believe in the rookie's future. Jones, who previously earned a Super Bowl ring with Seattle, adds depth alongside Emanuel Wilson and George Holani.
